huzzah for internet cafes!!
Hi everyone!!
I'm blogging from Gdansk, Poland. It is soooo amazing here. The city is soo old and full of history. You can see all the history on the streets, the buildings, and just everywhere.
Last night was our first of two performances in Gdansk. The church we are performing in is just mindblowing. It is soo big and old...omg it is just spectactular. This show was made for this space. It fits it like a glove. It is like John Blondell was thinking about this space the whole time he was directing us. The show went really really well.
Tonight we have another performance in the church, which by the way is called St. John's Church.
I was a little nervous about the fact that were going to be in a country that doesn't speak English, but to my surprise many of the people who work in restaurants etc, actually do speak English fairly well. That is soo nice.
I don't know how to post pics on this computer so you will have to wait to see those. I don't know when or if I'll get back to an internet cafe, so hope you enjoy this little blog and I look forward to telling you all about my trip in person when I get back.

the king is coming...
so here i sit, in clark j, on a basically empty westmont campus waiting for rehearsal time to roll about. i thought i'd post a blog. i posted a blog with a link to info about Richard II, and i just wanted to let people know that i have 2 FREE TICKETS TO MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY PERFORMANCES. that is 2 tickets to each night and if u can make it to santa barbara and would like the see the show either on monday or wednesday night let me know and i will get u the two free tickets.
man, westmont is so different in the summer. there is like nobody here. i mean u walk around and know that most of the rooms are empty and then u sometimes run into high school age kids or younger here for random events.
pretty soon i will be in Poland... oh so excited.

untitled
three weeks from this last tues, the day i need to be back in santa barbara to rehearse for Richard II and get ready for our trip to Poland. i am looking forward to being back in santa barbara. but today i feel i have started to finally enjoy being home more. i mean there were things about being home i didn't like, and but i think some of the little things that made me like it are finally starting to out weigh the bad things. it took a while. but i finally am okay being away from my westmont friends. i mean i miss them still of course.
but anywho, before we take off for poland we are going to perform Richard II again in the same church we did before. those who missed it or would like to see it again, let me know so i can keep you posted on dates, cost, etc.
